Q1. When the Enrolment Application can be obtained from Bar Council?
A. The candidates who passed out the Law Degree can obtain the Enrolment application for enrolling themselves as Advocates directly from the office of the Bar Council after showing the Law Degree Provisional on Monday / Tuesday of every week before 12 A.M. on payment of Rs. 200/- by way of cash.

Q2. Whether the Candidates can download the Enrolment Application Form from the Website?
A. Yes, downloaded Enrolment Form will also be accepted

Q3. What is the procedure to fill up the Enrolment Form?
A.Every Monday / Tuesday the applicants will be given instructions for filling the enrolment form at the Bar Council office.

Q4. How to submit the Enrolment application form?
A. After fulfill the requirements the candidates can file the duly filled applications along with certificates in between 2.30 P.M to 4.30 P.M at Bar Council office.

Q5. What is the procedure for filing the enrolment application by the Retired / Non Regular Candidates?
A. The candidates who studied the Law Course while in Service has to submit the LL.B. T.C, Retirement and Relieving Orders from the Employer, Permission letter for studying Law Course issued by the Employer and Proof of working place during the study period of Law. The Service Candidates should file affidavit on Rs. 10/- non judicial stamp paper along with enrolment application, stating the facts.

Non Regular candidates means those who has a gap of more than 2 years in between studies or after completion of the courses has to submit an affidavit on Rs. 10/- non judicial stamp paper stating the reasons for gap in between the studies along with Enrolment Application.


Q6. When the Enrolments will take place?
A. Enrolment as advocates will be held on Thursday, for those who filed their enrolment applications before the Bar Council on Monday / Tuesday of the same week. For Service and Non Regular candidates enrolment will take place only after approval of the Enrolment Committee and the date given by the office.

Q7. What are the Certificates required for Enrolment?
A. All original Certificates i.e. (SSC or equivalent to Law Degree) along with one Duplicate copy of each one. The Duplicate copies should be attested by Gazetted Officer.

Q8. When will be the enrolments will not take place?
A.Holidays to High Court of A.P are the holidays to Bar Council. During vacations to High Court of A.P. i.e. (Sankranthi, Summer and Dasara) Enrolments will not take place.

Q1. How to apply for Admission?
A.Applicant has to pay Rs. 2100/- towards Life Membership Fees along with the prescribed Application (Form Nos. 3 & 4) and Certificate from the Bar Association, in which he is a member. The said amount can be paid either by way of Cash or Demand Draft in favour of “A.P.Advocates Welfare Fund.”

Q2. How to apply for Library Loan ?
A.Applicant has to make an application to the Committee in writing, attested by the President of concerned Bar Association and has to enclose Surety Form duly filled up and List of required Books in 2 copies. The applicant should not cross 5 years of standing at the Bar to make an application for Library Loan.

Q3. WHow to apply for Death Benefit ?
A.The nominees of the deceased advocates have to make an application in prescribed Form ( Form No. 5) for claiming Death Benefits, enclosing Death Certificate and Recommendation letter from the concerned Bar Association, within 6 months from the date of expiry of the advocate.

Q4. How to apply for Retirement Benefit ?
A.Applicants have to make an application to the Committee in writing for claiming Retirement Benefits, enclosing Recommendation letter from the concerned Bar Association and Original Enrolment & Welfare Fund Certificates.

Q5. How to apply for Financial Assistance on Medical grounds ?
A. Applicants have to make an application in prescribed Form (Form No. 6) for claiming Financial Assistance on Medical grounds, enclosing Discharge Summary or Medical Certificate from concerned Hospital along with the Medical Bills. The applicants have to enclose covering letter along with the application, disclosing the particulars of the disease. The claim should be made within one year from the date of treatment.
