Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh Loan Scheme
Eligibility Criteria
- Advocate should have filed Application under Certificate and Place of Practice (Verification) Rules, 2015 OR should have passed All India Bar Examination and should have filed Declaration.
- Advocate should have AADHAR card.
- Advocate should not have availed stipend under YSR LAW NESTHAM
- Spouse should not be a gainfully employed in any Government / Government Undertaking / Corporation / Government Organization.
- Advocates, who have retired from Government / Government undertaking Service and availing pension are not eligible.
- Advocates, possessing Four-wheeler as well as House is not eligible.
Note : Any person, who was allotted a house under a Government Scheme meant for socially and economically weaker section categories and a person,who owns a house in a village, other than the City or Town, where he is practising, will not be disqualified.
- Bar Council Members and Presidents of the Bar Associations are not eligible.
- The Advocates, availed Financial Assistance under Covid-19, provided by the Bar Council and all other Advocates, having less than 5 years standing i.e.enrolled on or after 01-08-2015 are entitled to avail loan of Rs.10,000/- only.
- The Advocates, who are more than 5 years of standing and not availed financial assistance under Covid-19, provided by the Bar Council are entitled to choose loan either to an extent of Rs.10,000/- or Rs.20,000/-.
- All Government Pleaders / Asst. Govt. Pleaders / Special Govt. Pleaders / Public Prosecutors / Asst. Public Prosecutors / Special Public Prosecutors / Standing Council / Legal Advisors and the Advocates, who are having the source of income are not eligible to avail the loan.
