This is to notify that the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh & the Special Committee, constituted under the “Government Grant”, together intend to call for quotations from all the Insurance Companies, to provide Group Mediclaim and Personal Accident Policies to the advocates for the year 2023-24. Out of 34500 eligible advocates, about 15000 advocates may come forward to obtain Insurance Policies.

Therefore, the Insurance Companies or Insurance Broking Services, intend to offer their quotation, shall submit the same, to the office of the Bar Council, in sealed cover, addressing to the Chairman, Special Committee, Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh, High Court Buildings, Amaravati, on or before 10-04-2023.

The quotation shall be submitted for the Sum Insured of Rs.2,00,000/- and Rs. 3,00,000/- for coverage of 1+3 i.e. Self, Spouse and two dependent Children with the annexed features.

              With reference to the subject cited above, this is to  inform   that  most of the Advocates,   who  got   enrolled  their  names  on the  Rolls  of the Bar Council of  Andhra  Pradesh,  have  submitted  applications  under    Certificate  &  Place  of  Practice (Verification) Rules, 2015,   framed  by  the Bar Council of  India.  The Bar Council had received  about 25,000 applications  for  verification  of  their certificates and the  Bar Council, having  scrutinized   the  said  applications,  issued   Certificate  of   Practice and  Identify  Card to those  Advocates.

The advocates are informed to collect Mediclaim cards i.e. Self and dependents, covered under the Policy along with user guide (network hospitals list).
